First, some updates...
I will be offering mini-readings at Bistrot Walluc just off Brick Lane on Fri 11th March. If you're London based and fancy a magical addition to an evening of delicious food and drink, then by all means, book yourself in.
If you're not London based but fancy a sprinkling of mystical vibes for an event or party you're planning, did you know I can do this? Drop me a line - we can work something out...
And finally, my calendar in March is getting pretty full, so if you're keen on having a 1-1 reading, I'd crack on and get booking sooner rather than later!
So, what are the cards saying?
This one is short and simple, cause that's what it wanted it to be.
As I shuffled the cards, I became aware that I wanted to challenge my inclination to dive into detailed, winding exploration of existential concepts and ideas. To veer away from this deep-rooted way of playing with the cards felt alien and scary, which meant that I probably needed to do it. So, as I riffled the shit out of the cards, I simply asked: what are some questions worth contemplating?
And below is how the cards answered. Pick the ones that spark something in you. Work with them and leave the rest. Or read them all, and let them wash over you, whatever works for you.
One.
What are you fighting for or on behalf of? Do you tend to fight for yourself (your right to be heard, seen, understood, respected) or the rights of others? Could you do more of one or the other? How active are your defence mechanisms - are they super-sensitive and ready to activate at the smallest inconvenience or slight? Or do you tend to shrink away when it looks like a fight might be approaching? Where has your relationship with fighting got you so far? Are you happy with it?
Two.
When was the last time you stretched? Can you remember the last time you took your time to eat something super delicious and savoured every mouthful? What was it, how did it taste, what did you feel as you did that? When was the last time you got down and nasty with someone else or yourself? How long has it been since you laughed so hard you farted or choked or snorted or almost peed? Who else was there, what were you laughing at? When was the last time your heart was left pounding out of excitement, exercise, fear or lust? Have you recently stopped to feel it pulsing through your body and doing it's thing? Why/why not?
Three.
What do you think compassion looks like? What was your last act of compassion? Was it towards yourself or someone else? How did it make you feel? How compassionate are you towards yourself...Is there room for more? How compassionate are you towards others? Is there room for more? What's the most compassionate thing you've ever witnessed? The last time you felt relief flooding through your system, a lightness move through your chest, belly and jaw - have you paid thanks for it recently?
I'd love to hear which questions resonated with you, and why.
I'd even be curious to read any answers to some questions if people feel like sharing. Just hit reply and start typing - your response will come directly to me.
