Welcome to Virgo season, friends.

Whether you fuck with the movements of the stars or not, my hope for you (and myself) is that the coming month is brimming with mental focus, industrious action, and all the TLC needed to reset the areas in our lives that need resetting.

In some ways, it's the perfect time for getting your ducks in a row: the nights are less fiery, the days less technicolour...the distractions and dramatics of Summer are coming to a close, so why not do a little mind-body-soul stock take, hmm?

As spooky season is only just around the corner, my events bookings are starting to ramp up. If you'd like a sprinkling of magic for your birthday, work-do or Halloween party, I'd recommend getting in touch sooner rather than later to discuss options. 

September: wtf are the cards sayin? 

If you find yourself repeatedly resistant (Page of Swords) to opportunities (Ace of Pentacles), and frequently wishing you'd had the focus, guts, or wherewithal to just fucking take something by the horns and DO IT... Then it might be worth exploring what scares you.

I say scares, because I think fear is a potent yet illusive motivator and meddler that can be easy to give in to but hard to recognise. Usually though, it's fear that makes us over-analyse the opportunities that are presented to us until we can't enjoy them. It's fear that spawns highly reactive and critical thought patterns. And it's fear that can stop us from taking any kind of action at all, even when we so, so desperately want to. 

Chances are once you start digging into fear, you'll find a whole mess of crap about values and self-worth (9 of Cups). And it's odds on, that if you can address and soothe some of these oldest, strangest fears - the ones about not being deserving of good things, or not being worth anything, or not being good enough for this world - your relationship with opportunity will change. 

Not only will more opportunities appear before you, you'll also be more skilled at efficiently, instinctively, effortlessly knowing whether they are right for you.

And, if they are, I dare-fuckin-say, you'll go get them.
